Tsuba with three "picture windows" with popular Japanese decorations.
The lower one - inome with a ume branch (about ume you can read here).
In the middle - matsukawabishi with bamboo and sparrow (takesuzume): very are often represented together on paintings, decors and family crests.
The upper one - with a steam of asagao (morning glory), the plant that was brought to Japan islands in Nara era.
The plate is the old ko-tosho tsuba from late Muromachi. The decor was added later, in the beginning of Edo (in the middle-end of 17 century), by a craftsman from 2-3 generation of Nara school.
No inscription. Style - Nara.
Age - Muromachi/Edo.
